PLC Shift Device and OS Support
For most PLC Shift solutions, three components are required. A supported Linux device or OS to execute the PLC Shift run-time, a PLC/RTU for its tag database, site specific logic and connection to IO, and the physical IO itself. We've compiled a list of tested Linux devices, OS, PLCs (physical and virtual) and IO. You can filter the list below based on your specific requirements.
These components can be mixed and matched in many different way. For example, the Linux device can run PLC Shift and communicate to an existing PLC, or the Linux device can also be the PLC with Codesys installed and IO, or a Linux based PLC with IO such as an Groov EPIC can also serve as the Linux device.
